CALL FOR PAPERS
PATRAM 2010 will cover a wide range of issues and Authors are invited to submit abstracts papers which may be considered for Oral Presentations and for Panel Sessions on any topic relevant to the Symposium. Oral Presentations are to last 20 minutes and Panel Sessions will begin with short introductory presentations followed by a longer period of structured discussion. The topics currently being considered include:
- package technology and design, safety assessments including criticality, risk assessment, components, materials and analytical methods,
- package manufacture and testing for all materials, including nuclear fuel cycle materials, radioactive sources, pharmaceuticals, process and decommissioning wastes,
- interim storage for spent fuel and wastes including both package and transport considerations,
- transport operations for all modes of transport, sea, land and air, including experience, radiation protection and emergency preparedness,
- security, package and operational impacts,
- regional emerging issues, nature, timescales and proposals,
- regulation, implementation, review, harmonisation and future trends,
- sustaining shipments, experience/database, denial and delay, forecasting and future options,
- management controls, systems, compliance, QA and audit,
- public acceptability, issues, communication and monitoring.
PATRAM 2010 also will have a Poster Session and abstracts are invited for this.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Selection for inclusion in the PATRAM 2010 programme will be made by the Paper Selection Committee based on the merits of the abstracts submitted.
Authors should state whether their proposal is for a paper for Oral Presentation, Panel Session or the Poster Session.
Each abstract should not exceed 350 words, submitted in English.
All sections of the electronic submittal form should be completed including name, mailing address, phone and email. After having submitted the electronic form, you will receive an email notification indicating that your abstract has been received. Abstracts are required for all symposium speakers.
